What we collect
Workout logs, body weight entries, and training preferences are stored locally on your device using SQLite. When you sign in, your account ID is synced to Supabase so we can back up and restore your data.
Apple Health
With your permission, Tetrad reads your step count and writes completed workouts and body weight to Apple Health. This data never leaves your device — it is exchanged directly with Health on your iPhone.
Progress photos
Progress photos are stored privately on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers, used for analytics, or shared with any third party.
Notifications
We use local notifications only — there is no marketing push. Reminders, such as rest timers, run entirely on-device.
Usage analytics
We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — which features are used, screen views, and in-app actions — to improve the app. We never send your name, photos, notes, or Apple Health data. You can turn analytics off any time in Profile → Share Anonymous Usage Data.
Third-party services
Supabase handles authentication and optional cloud backup. PostHog handles anonymous usage analytics. Apple Sign-In credentials are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your password.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Local data is removed immediately; server data within 30 days. To request a copy of your data, email us at the address below.
Children
Tetrad is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
